The short version
- We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t sell your personal information.
- This site’s own pages do not set cookies. The 18+ notice uses only your browser’s local storage. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example if bot protection or a challenge is enabled) to deliver and protect the site; we do not use those for advertising. Retailer and affiliate sites may set their own cookies when you leave this site.
Information we collect
We don’t collect information through forms or accounts. The site is a static website with no sign-up, comments or contact forms.
Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics. We don’t currently use any analytics or tracking tools. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to reply.
The 18+ notice
When you confirm that you are 18 or older, your browser stores a single value (vv_age_ack = 1) in local storage on your device so the notice doesn’t reappear on every page. It is not a cookie, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Links to retailers take you to websites we don’t control. Those sites and their affiliate networks may set cookies or collect information under their own privacy policies. We may receive aggregated reports from affiliate networks (for example, number of clicks or sales), which generally don’t identify you to us.
Children
This site is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we hold very little, the main item is any email you send us. Contact velvetverdict@outlook.com to make a request.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date above.
